Holiday Well-Wishes!

Hey all –

Just wanted to wish everyone a relaxing and joyous holiday season.  Hope it’s a great one…

In the last week or so, I’ve spent a few days in Dallas with good friends, and now I’m at my sister’s in St. Louis, hangin’ with the family.  And yes, it has been a “White Christmas” around here, as the snow started falling this morning…

This is why I live in LA!

Also, I wanted to thank all of my regular readers for your continued participation and support here at the blog.  I do this for you, and I look forward to a lot of cool entries and enlightening exchanges in 2010.

Peace,

BR

Hey you know I don’t have a problem driving up to Dallas next time you’re in that area if you don’t come down to Houston–hint-hint–as that is where a couple of friends of mine live, including my cow(well, Maybelle is in McKinney, but that’s almost close enough to just say Dallas).
Hope you did have a good holiday; I cooked my usual Tofurkey and came up with a semi-own conconction of a glaze for my veggies and they turned out FANTASTIC! I even suprised and impressed myself–LOL!
Then I made vegan chocolate cupcakes.

Hope you had/have a safe trip home, and the BEST for 2010-and yes, HAPPY NEW YEAR, btw, in case you don’t post in the next couple of days.

Oh, and btw I’m disappointed that you didn’t invite me up to St. Louis to have a snowball fight with you–HaHa! 😉 🙂

    Hey Bobby,

With the new year under way, I was wondering what your own goals for 2010 might be? Or do you see 2010 as just another number, and subsequently continue to set and modify goals throughout the year?

Do you organise goals under headings such as Intrapersonal, Interpersonal, Societal, Worldly etc.?

Does your goal-setting routine utilise the Journaling and Sacred Space concepts you have discussed?

    Thanks,

    Trevor.

  8. Bobby Rock says:

    Hey everyone –

    Thanks for all the well-wishes.

Trevor: Yeah, I suppose I’m constantly setting and modifying goals throughout the year, as opposed to mainly at the beginning. I’m personally not real big on New Year’s resolutions, although there’s nothing wrong with them. And yes, the journaling and Sacred Space concepts are at the center of my planning…or at least what little planning I tend to do.

If anything – I would like to plan things a bit more for 2010 and “bring in some hard numbers” in terms of completion dates, allotting certain amounts of time for things, etc. I really like living the largely unstructured, ultra-creative, elastic lifestyle. However, it’s hard to complete shit if you’re ALL about the “elasticity,” so to speak…

Best wishes for the new year, everyone –
    BR
