    Patients and doctors do know that a healthy diet can do a world of good. It appears many folks out there want a “magic pill” or “quick fix”. It’s easier to take a prescription and continue with the same destructive eating habits. (part of the reason why the health care system is in a crisis) There are other factors in addition to a healthy diet which can also positively affect Type 2 (and Type 1) blood glucose levels, including certain supplements and herbs (chromium, gymnema sylvestre, cinnamon) and stress reduction through meditation, homeopathy, acupuncture, etc.
